a site specific performance

With heck a site specific performance, the artist uses urban interstitial spaces—parking lots, roadsides, traffic junctions—to performatively explore the car as a symbol of power, masculinity, and mobility. Tanja Peinsipp intervenes in urban spaces and transforms everyday traffic zones into places of critical reflection. Her body becomes a projection surface for social issues: gender roles, ecological responsibility, petro-masculinity, and social change come into focus.
